What are the requirements for the breaking strength of polypropylene high-strength yarn?
Polypropylene high-strength yarn is a polypropylene multifilament with a breaking strength greater than 6cN/dtex. Polypropylene high-strength yarn has the characteristics of small relative density, low hygroscopicity, high strength, wear resistance, acid and alkali resistance and low thermal conductivity.
The polypropylene high-strength yarn can be processed by a two-step method and a one-step method. The two-step process has a high breaking strength of 6~8cN/dtex, and the wire obtained by one-step method has a strength of about 5~7cN/dex, but its energy consumption is low. It is an important fiber raw material for industrial textiles, used for high-speed sewing threads, luggage belts, sports goods slings, geotextiles, ropes, nets and fishing gear.
