Where is the polypropylene high-strength yarn?
Among the industrial yarns of various synthetic fibers, the high strength and impact resistance of polypropylene high-strength yarns, as well as its flexibility and chemical resistance make it a highly competitive variety. In addition, its production equipment investment is low, raw materials are cheap, energy consumption is minimal, environmental pollution is low, and it has obvious technical and economic advantages.
Performance of polypropylene high-strength yarns:
1. The strength of polypropylene high-strength yarns is comparable to that of polyester and nylon industrial yarn, and it is exactly the same under wet and dry conditions.
2. Polypropylene has a density of 0.919/cm', which is the medium density of all industrial synthetic fibers. Its density is only 66% of polyester (1.389/cma) and 80% of nylon (1.149/cm3). Considering the price and density of silk, the use of polypropylene high-strength yarn as raw material will cost much less than polyester or nylon industrial yarn. In addition, because polypropylene absorbs less moisture (MO.1%), it is especially suitable for marine products and other products that require non-hygroscopicity.
3. Good wear resistance and flexibility
4. Resistance to mildew. Polypropylene is not attacked by insects or bacteria.
5. Good stability to chemicals. Due to the absence of reactive groups in the molecular structure of polypropylene, the stability to acids, bases and other chemicals is very good, even better than polyester and nylon, making it suitable for many chemical applications.
6. UV resistance and dyeability have been solved. Polypropylene itself has poor light resistance, but excellent UV radiation degradation resistance can be achieved by using polypropylene chips with stabilizers, and the product is suitable for outdoor use. Polypropylene dyeing is difficult, but it has been solved by adding a dyeing aid or coloring the stock solution.
